Growing up as a little girl, I remember my mom working behind the chair as a cosmetologist. I would watch peoples faces as they got up from the salon chair - a fresh reset of self confidence.
15 years later in cosmetology school I got to experience the same thing. I like to think that this was the moment I had been waiting my whole life for. I knew I was in the right place doing exactly what I was called to do. Only my path changed from behind the chair to behind a lash bed after a few years in the industry!
In 2018, I became a mother to my first son, Sky Alexander. The struggle to find balance in caring for my new baby and managing my clientele felt so similar to the struggle that I saw growing up with my own mother. I knew that I was meant to do both and I refused to let go of what my heart was calling me to do.
EBM Lash Bar opened in August 2019 with a team of lash artists with the same standards & training. Our goal is for you to feel comfortable seeing any of our lash artists for your services. We understand that life is busy, kids get sick and unplanned work meetings can fall into your lap last minute.
We are a likeminded team of lash artists under one roof at EBM Lash Bar. We regularly see many of each others clients and we whole heartedly enjoy getting to know each and every one of you!
Self care isn't selfish, it's a priority.

Hi. I’m Malika. I’m a certified lash artist. After getting my diploma in Accounting, I knew sitting in a cubicle was not what I wanted. I love everything that’s related to beauty. I especially fell in love with lashing back in high school but recently decided to pursue what I love. I found a passion to make people feel their best. When not lashing I enjoy cooking and baking.
